Our passion for custom home design and green building construction comes from a deeply rooted focus on family. Our journey started back in the 1980s, when owner Jay Epstein took a look at his family and his home and asked, “What if we could do this better?”After considering his children’s asthma, the cost of utilities and other traditional building barriers, the idea for Healthy Communities was born.
